Skiing in the Shower

Confessions of a Mountain Girl

This is the first in a long series of videos that we have planned to build and post. The first series is dedicated to those who signed up, tried hard, and DID NOT PASS their exams the first time. I've been there. It's brutal. But what I've seen this year is that many of those who fail their first exam then reach out for coaching, training, video analysis, and they try again, and they succeed. So this is for you guys. Thanks for driving over, training hard, and going again. I'm so proud of you.

These videos are also for the everyday skier, not just for instructors or instructors in training!

If there's something you'd like to learn more about, after we get through the fundamentals, please email me and make a request! I'd love to answer any questions that I am able to via video.

Next order of business... so that's the observatory at the top of the Jungfraujoch where a couple of the James Bond movies were filmed. We'll eat lunch there before we ski down. (The easy way, don't panic.) Yup, we are going to Switzerland March 10-18, and we still have three spots available!

This trip is going to be incredible, family friendly blue/single black skiing in the shadow of the storied Eiger mountain. We'll stay with friends of Weems Westfeldt in the family-owned Hotel Falken in Wengen, and we'd love to have you with us! To read more about it, please visit

And FINALLY, hold on to your hats, who wants to go powder skiing in one of the coolest places I've ever been? This is my friend Greg Zucchero sending it on a run in Chatter Creek called DurkaDurkastan. Pillows for days.

And it turns out we are lucky enough that we have secured six seats and get to host a Powder Playground CAMP there!

January 3-5 2018 in Chatter Creek British Columbia and there are only four seats left. Learn to ski steeps, trees, and pillows on the most unusual, exciting and fun terrain I've ever been on two planks. Oh, and the food is awesome. And so is the message. We'll examine the video, help you hone your technique while encouraging you to let go and float through the bottomless pow.

This trip will certainly sell out, so visit to learn more and save your spot!
